Baby Girl has an inguinal hernia needs Surgery
![]() ![]() ![]() what happened to Lucy?
when we picked up little Lucy the vet told us she had a inguinal hernia that they could not fix, so she wasn't spayed either and she was 5-6 not 2 as previously said, she need her teeth fixed too. so Joe and Cristi took the baby home and the pampering begins, in the mean time we are raising funds for poor Lucy's bulging hernia (common in Chi's) and hoping we can get the hernia, teeth and spay done soon. contact allardd@aol.com or Sheilah Aragon www.muttmatchla.org Founder, Mutt Match L.A. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED RESCUE FOUND THANK-YOU so MUCH!! Sheilah from Mutt match L.a. has so generously offered to sponsor the Chi! It all worked out today! for one cute homeless dog and 2 people!! Yippee!! Sheilah Mutt Match L.A. gave Cristi and Joe the opportunity to foster the sweet wee one and save a life too:) after loosing their precious Chi at 5 years old- another dog as well. They walked by her to go to the medical ward to inquire about bottle babes..saw her they were taken in by her eyes and soulful spirit. I put it out there..asking for a rescue-and Sheilah kindly just said no problem--home check and application of course, and all the normal stuff but didn't wait and hesitate so we wouldn't miss the opportunity to get her out. Happily all is shored up and she will be out Monday after spay. I didn't know until almost 5 PM it was going happen, so I wasn't able to update until now being at work. FYI- I have known Cristi for 18 years and know she will be a wonderful foster Mom and Joe too! I saw the light come back into their eyes, I know this is going to be a beautiful thing for them all.. stay tuned for Pictures:) and name.. BTW-thank-you to all who offered too help pull the wee one and a big thank-you to Gacy @ Carson the adoption coordinator who stayed after work to see that one of her little girls was going to be ok and taken care of, making all the arrangements for the Chi~~. She stayed to help us..thanks Gacy! we Love your compassion for the dogs!~~ sincerely Deborah Allard Lucy's begining
Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 7:28 PM Subject: Fwd: saving this gal-is a no brainier~~ HAVE FOSTER need rescue -let's save this dog #A 4236673 Carson Shelter The couple who went to Carson was inquiring about the bottle baby program and ran into this wee one below, they recently lost their wonderful Chi (Cinamon) to kidney failure at 5 years old- The cause her VACCINE- her required 3 year boosters- no vet could find the cause for her sudden and fatal kidney failure, she was 100% fine then she got her shots- within weeks she started getting ill, She passed Away Dec 23rd, one month and and 2 weeks ago-R.I.P. Cinimon.(Pic left top) They are heart broken and not healing. They have no children she was their child, they lost the most precious thing in this world to them. Now they have to find their way back from the grief and heart-ache the shock of a sudden and senseless death- I suggested another dog but they aren't ready, I suggested a foster to help heal them and save a life..they are ready to do this, it could be this wee one's lucky day~if I can find a rescue to take her in. I have the foster parents right here-- Any rescue interested in taking this wee one in? She can go directly to their home here in Redondo Beach BTW- I have personally know Christi for 18 years, she worked for me when I started my business that long ago:) Cristi and Joe are loving caring wonderful people.
